Safe Harbors of the Hudson in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement presents the 2nd Black Renaissance Festival, an exhibition of visual and performing arts amplifying and celebrating Black Voices on September 25, 2021 in conjunction with Newburgh Open Studios.
This call is open to Black artists and allies in the visual arts, to submit their work for an exhibition in our Ann Street Gallery. Black artists may submit works of any media and subject; allies are asked to submit works relevant to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Submission Instructions:
Artists may submit their work via Google Forms.
Each Artist may submit up to 3 works for selection. Each work must b submitted with your name, title of work, date, media, and dimensions.
Submission Deadline:
Tuesday, August 31st 2021 midnight EST.
Notification:
Artists will be notified of selection by Tuesday, September 7th, 2021.
